The Center offers trainings and semester-long consultations for departments and organizations seeking to build more welcoming and affirming environments.Ìý
LGBTQ+ Allyship in Higher Education (formerly Safe Zone)
LGBTQ+ Allyship at ÐÔÊӽ紫ý is hosted by the Pride team within The Center. This interactive training focuses on the experiences of LGBTQ+ students in higher education, how to create supportive environments and how to be a better ally.Ìý
Participants will:Ìý
- Learn about LGBTQ+ students’ experiences on campusÌý
- Explore ways to improve inclusion and belongingÌý
- Engage in open, supportive dialogue and reflectionÌý

UndocuAlly TrainingÌý
UndocuAlly is a training for ÐÔÊӽ紫ý faculty, staff and graduate students in teaching or administrative roles who want to learn how to better support undocumented students.Ìý
The training provides space to build understanding, learn supportive practices and explore ways to create more inclusive and affirming environments for undocumented students.Ìý
This is a two-hour training and participants must attend the full session. Registrants will receive an email the day before the training confirming whether the session will run and including the Zoom link.Ìý

ConsultationsÌý
Consultations may include:Ìý
- Reviewing handbooks, forms and commonly used documents for inclusive languageÌý
- Examining everyday practices such as emailing, meetings and social interactionsÌý
- Identifying inclusive resources within and beyond your departmentÌý
- Addressing specific challenges or concerns related to LGBTQ+ inclusionÌý
