Volunteer with The Center
Volunteering with The Center is a great way to get involved, meet new people and help create welcoming spaces for all Buffs. We rely on volunteers—students, staff and faculty—to help make our events possible and to create meaningful experiences for those we serve.Ìý
Volunteers can support The Center in many ways. You might help plan signature events and initiatives like the Ignite Social Justice & Leadership Conference or history and heritage month events. You can also help with on‑the‑ground support at larger events like CUnity and the Pride Picnic. Event roles vary, but may include setting up or cleaning up after the event, checking in participants, helping presenters during breakout sessions, keeping track of time or collecting feedback.Ìý
Getting involved is also a great way to meet people across campus, build your professional network and directly support student communities. Many staff volunteers have shared that helping at events gives them new ways to connect with students and reach those who may benefit from additional support.Ìý
