Center Symposium

The Center Symposium

Fall 2026

The Center Symposium is your chance to share what you’ve been working on—whether it is a project, a creative idea or steps you have taken to spark positive change, both on campus and beyond. We welcome proposals from undergraduate and graduate students.

ÌýÌýHow it works:

You will get 15 minutes to present your efforts or plans for social change, followed by five minutes to answer questions and connect with others who care about making a difference. We are seeking proposals that demonstrate how students connect what they have learned from their in-classroom experiences with social justice concepts and how they plan to use that knowledge to lead and inspire change, on or off campus. You will also get assistance on how to develop your proposal into a presentation.

ÌýÌýWhat you’ll gain:

  • Build your confidence and polish your public speaking skills
  • Meet peers from others disciplines committed to contributing to society
  • Learn to turn your experiences into leadership opportunities
  • Show off your ideas for creating tangible change in the community

ÌýÌýCall for Proposals will open in fall 2026.

Join us and be part of a supportive community where your ideas matter and your impact grows—everyone is welcome, and your story could spark the next wave of change.Ìý
