BVSD updates calendar to match ÐÔÊӽ紫ý spring break dates

to align the district’s spring break with ÐÔÊӽ紫ý’s spring break dates.

For a number of years, ÐÔÊӽ紫ý’s spring break dates have matched with the Boulder Valley School District’s spring break dates and often those ofÌýthe St. Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD). This is helpful to many ÐÔÊӽ紫ý employees and ÐÔÊӽ紫ý parents and families who have students enrolled in one of the two nearby K-12 school districts.Ìý

BVSD and ÐÔÊӽ紫ý identified a discrepancy for the 2022–23 academic year.Ìý

Following the BVSD Board of Education’s unanimous vote on June 7, BVSD moved spring break to March 27–31, 2023, which matches ÐÔÊӽ紫ý’s break.

SVVSD has currently not made any changes to its planned March 20–24, 2023, spring break.Ìý

ÐÔÊӽ紫ý reached out to both school districts to set the stage for future cooperation on calendar setting that benefits all three institutions going forward.
