Workshop 1: Building a Personalized AI 鈥淎gent鈥 / Assistant for Proposal Development

Fall 2026 dates TBD

Co-led by OIT AI Program Manager Conor Walady and RIO Assoc. Director Research Development Donna Axel, this workshop introduces practical strategies for integrating faculty-authored materials (e.g., CVs, prior proposals, publications) into ChatGPT or Copilot to support proposal drafting that is efficient, sponsor-aligned, and grounded in the faculty member鈥檚 expertise鈥攚ithout compromising intellectual ownership.

Workshop 2: Funder-Responsive Prompt Creation for Proposal Development

Fall 2026 dates TBD

With an emphasis on specificity and alignment, faculty will design prompts that reflect sponsor requirements, evaluation criteria, and mission alignment.听

Participants will come away with reusable prompt templates and an understanding of how grant writing conventions shape effective prompting and responsible AI-supported proposal development.

Workshop 3: Drafting and Repurposing Proposals Using AI

Fall 2026 dates TBD

Participants will apply concepts from Workshops 1 and 2 to Reuse, Repurpose, and Recycle proposal materials, enabling rapid and efficient submission to alternative funding opportunities.听

The emphasis is on saving time, maintaining intellectual ownership, and using AI to adapt existing content to new sponsor requirements and missions.
