Tier 3 and 4 Public and Community-Engaged Scholarship Grant Applications Now Open!

Tier 3 and 4 grants are for faculty projects that connect ÐÔÊӽ紫ý scholarship with the expressed needs, interests or activities of external constituents and are aligned with the campus definition of outreach and engagement.

From investigating the health impacts of emissions on residents in Gloster, Mississippi, to a week-long coding bootcamp for Denver-area community college students, 14 projects received over $49,000 in funding.

The American Council on Education and the The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching announced that ÐÔÊӽ紫ý has earned the 2026 Carnegie Elective Classification for Community Engagement, a distinction reflecting the university’s commitment to working with communities across the state and beyond.

The Office for Outreach and Community Engagement (OCE) is a new campus unit comprised of Native American Affairs, Local Government and Community Engagement, Partnerships and Public Policy, and Public and Community-Engaged Scholarship.

The Office for Outreach and Community Engagement (OCE) is ÐÔÊӽ紫ý's strategic hub for coordinating and supporting campus engagement with external communities—doing so based on shared campus and community principles and centering data-informed outreach, civically engaged students and ÐÔÊӽ紫ý’s mission as Colorado’s flagship public research university.ÌýÌý
