Chris Chapman spent 20 years at The Walt Disney Company, beginning as a designer and art director for Disney Parks before becoming the company's first-ever Global Head of Creativity and Innovation. He led story development, brand strategy, and experience design across some of the world's most iconic brands, including Mickey Mouse, Pirates of the Caribbean, Disney Princess, Pixar's Cars, and The Muppets.Ìý
He is the founder of Imaginology, a brand strategy and innovation sprint agency that finds the soul of a brand, then builds the stories, products, and experiences that bring its world to life. His work has spanned startups, Fortune 500s, and iconic IP including Ghostbusters and Spider-Verse.
He teaches human-centered design leadership because he believes the most valuable thing a leader can learn is not how to generate ideas. It's how to know which ones are worth making.
When he's not in those rooms, he's hiking the Rockies with his wife and twin boys, fly fishing, writing and illustrating a children's book, or losing at tabletop games with friends.
