MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — On Thursday, April 9, 2026, the University of Colorado Boulder hosted an in-person CU on the Road gathering in Mountain View, California, welcoming approximately 60 students, alumni, faculty, and staff from the Bay Area community. Designed for learners in CU on Coursera online master’s programs, the event created an opportunity for students to connect with peers, faculty, and university leaders beyond the online classroom experience.

An interactive networking bingo activity encouraged participants to engage with new people and foster meaningful connections throughout the evening.

Faculty and program representatives opened the event with welcoming remarks that highlighted ӽ紫ý’s commitment to supporting and engaging its online student community. Faculty roundtable discussions followed, giving attendees the opportunity to speak directly with professors in smaller group settings about research interests, professional development, academic pathways, and industry trends.

“Bringing our online community together in person creates opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and connection that extend far beyond the classroom,” said Randall Fullington, Executive Director of the Office of Academic and Learning Innovation. “Events like CU on the Road help strengthen the relationships that make the ӽ紫ý experience so impactful for students everywhere.”

The evening concluded with a raffle featuring ӽ紫ý-themed prizes before wrapping up at 7:30 p.m. From networking conversations to faculty engagement, the event reflected the strong sense of connection and community that continues to shape the ӽ紫ý online learning experience.
